As we move closer to the end of the year, it’s exciting to reflect on how much our industry continues to evolve. One topic that many people are curious about right now is Artificial Intelligence — or AI. To some, it might feel a little scary or even unnecessary, but as a progressive agency that leans heavily into the digital space, we’re embracing AI every day to enhance the service we provide to both landlords and tenants.

Here’s a look at some of the areas where we’re proud to be one of the most forward-thinking agencies in our local area:

We use AI to assist with daily follow-ups for tenants who may be falling behind on their rent by small amounts. The system we use is called Propic, and our AI assistant Clare helps manage this process. Clare reaches out to tenants via SMS and email to remind them about overdue rent or unpaid invoices. When a tenant responds, Clare alerts the property manager so that we can step in and provide real-time support if they’re experiencing financial difficulties.

We’re now using 360° and AI technology to complete our ingoing, outgoing, and routine inspection reports. This allows us to create more detailed and accurate documentation than ever before, with AI comparing photos and even helping to draft the reports. It’s a big step up from the old days of handwritten, triplicate forms (if you’re as old as Tina and Lynne, you’ll remember those days well!).

Our website hosts an AI assistant that allows tenants to report maintenance issues 24/7. This means tenants can get immediate responses at any time of the day or night, helping us action requests faster and more efficiently.

Similarly, when tenants enquire about available properties, our AI ensures they receive quick and consistent responses — even outside office hours. This helps us maintain great communication and ensure that no enquiry is missed.

By being proactive and forward-thinking in how we use AI, we’re able to deliver faster, smarter, and more responsive service to our clients and tenants at all times.
